Jamie Lomax of Pacific Knit Co. has mastered the art of simple, oftentimes floatless colorwork that allows you to choose-your-own-adventure.

Each card has a short chart that you can stack with other cards to create cowls, hats, and other staple knits.

Each Doodle Card Deck includes:

• (2) Full color, illustrated schematics with bullet list instructions
• (24) Unique 24-stitch colorwork charts

Base Doodle Top-Down Socks (Fingering) pattern - THE BASE DOODLE SOCK is your new go-to sock recipe! Try full colorwork socks, decorate just the leg, or add a simple splash of colorwork along the cuff! Play with different ribbing, heel, and toe modifications! The options are endless! This sock pattern is worked in the round, from the top down. The cuff is worked and then the design-your-own stranded colorwork is worked on the leg. An afterthought heel is placed, before finishing the colorwork on the foot. Then the toe is shaped and grafted together. Lastly, the afterthought heel is picked up and worked.

Base Doodle Beanie 1 - THE BASE DOODLE BEANIE 1 is the perfect everyday hat! Simple construction and easy style modification options make this a fast favorite! Add a little flair at the brim, or do all-over colorwork! This hat is knit starting with a simple ribbed brim, followed by a section of optional colorwork, and finished with spiral crown decreases.
