Socks with Sandy

Learn the magic of knitting socks with Sandy in this three-session class.
Using worsted weight yarn and larger needles, you'll learn the basics of sock anatomy, construction, and finishing techniques.
This is NOT a beginner's knitting class - students must be comfortable knitting and purling, working in the round (magic loop method, using a 9" circular needle OR (2) 16" circular needles) and working increases/decreases.
The first class session will introduce sock anatomy, and teach casting on your socks from the cuff. Students will then knit the leg of their sock at home. The second class session will cover turning the heel, with homework to finish knitting the foot at home. The third class session will include decreasing for the toe, finishing techniques and also will leave time for troubleshooting.
