Intermediate Crochet: Jules Cap
Who couldn’t use a comfortable and fully customizable beanie? Why not make one? In this Intermediate Crochet class you will be learning how to make the Jules Cap, which features the beautiful texture of the herringbone half-double crochet stitch. This is a brim-to-crown beanie that you can personalize! The holidays are coming up and a handmade gift is something your friends and family will treasure. Make sure you make one for yourself too, though!
To make the basic hat for the class, you will need:
Apx 225yds of worsted weight yarn
G/4 or 4.5mm hook
H/5mm hook
Scissors
Yarn Needle
The pattern for the Jules Cap will be included with your class
We will go over other options for fit and accessories for your hat in the class and there will be examples to get your creative ideas going!
*This is an Intermediate level class. You must be familiar AND comfortable with basic crochet stitches. Working in the round and the Herringbone Half Double Crochet stitch will be covered in the class
**You may not have a finished hat by the end of class time. Every effort will be made to help you complete as much of your hat as possible, with detailed instructions on finishing on your own, if needed.
