Beyond Basics: Woven Float Sampler
This class is a perfect "next steps" class in weaving - a warp and weft float sampler!

Skill Details:
Students will learn the following skill: how to intentionally create floats to create texture and patterns. A float is any weft that goes over more than one warp. The same can be said for any warp that goes over more than one weft!
Requirements:
Students must be familiar with rigid heddle weaving - this is NOT a beginner's class.
Students will need at least one pickup stick, and have their loom warped before class:
- warp should be a couple of yards in length, worsted weight, with an 8 dent reed
- your warp and weft should be contrasting colors.
